The Spots
FBC Kos is situated directly at the Horizon Beach Resort (MASTICHARI) on the Norht West coast of Kos,were beginner and intermediate wingfoiler can find ideal condition to improve and enjoy the spot. The Wind is usually on shore/side on shore from the right in the morning-the traditional Meltemi direction,and then in the afternoon often turn and blows more from the West. Usually, the wind intensifies through the day and gives way to sensational freeride blasting with swell/chops up to 1m on the outside. Whether you like to just cruise along, dream of improving your flying skills or nailing some new moves, you have found the ideal playground! As well as the stunning views whilst sailing, the proximity of Turkey and Kos create a wind funnel system, making way to stronger winds than other spots on the island.
The riding area is large and safe, and there is dedicated baywatch and rescue service free of charge.
Instruction
Instruction available: Windsurfing, Kitesurfing and Wingfoiling (IKO & VDWS)
Such an all-round spot enables FBC Kos to run a comprehensive training program across all levels, for windsurfing, kitesurfing and wingfoiling. Progress is guaranteed!
The FBC Kos Center is equipped with the latest Duotone and Fanatic wingfoil gear. No matter if you already know how to wingfoil and want to rent equipment, or if you like to learn this new and fascinating sport. The staff of FBC Kos is looking forward to welcome you!
You can choose between several lesson packages and combinations, from beginner to intermediate, either organised as a shared lesson with another student, or private tuition.
